Job description:

Our client is a progressive regional firm of accountants seeking a technically minded accounting manager to satisfy the growth within their client base.  With another technical client manager you will be responsible for;

 

-       Reviewing all accounting files before final sign off,

-       Setting technical standards within the office ,

-       Keeping up to date with new accounting disclosures as they arise and keeping necessary staff up to date,

-       Attend CPD courses all paid for by the firm,

-       Managing a portfolio of clients and being their first point of contact

-       Assisting with accounts preparation where necessary,

-       Getting involved with some tax compliance and maybe Sage training on an ad-hoc basis.

 

The successful individual will have an eye for detail and enjoy being up to date with the technical side of accounting.  You will be organised and have a good personality in order to build up strong relationships with your clients’. Our client is flexible as to whether this person is qualified of qualified by experience but must be a good team player and most of all enjoy this type of work.  This is an opportunity for longevity within a friendly firm.  Part time working may be considered for the right individual.
