Job Title: Private Equity, Investment Manager

Salary / Package: £50,000 - £65,000 + bens + bonuses

Location: UK, West Midlands

Job Type: Permanent full-time

Job description:

Our client is a leading National Private Equity House specialising in investments in the small to medium sized enterprises.  Due to continued growth within their investments and a new fund opening they are looking to expand their team with an investment manager.

 

The successful candidate will ideally have at least 3-7 years post qualified experience within Corporate Finance, Transactions Services, Private Equity or Venture Capital with a keen desire to specialise in the Private Equity arena. You will come into a broad role involving:-

 

• Deal origination and marketing.
• Assessing business plans and potential investment opportunities.
• Negotiating investment terms with potential investment opportunities.
• Ensuring a sound business case for profit is present in an investment.
• Preparing Investment Committee proposals.
• Completing due diligence - including legal, financial and commercial.
• Completing legal documentation.
• Portfolio management with regular review of progress against plan and dealing with problems if they arise.
• Assisting portfolio companies with their exit strategies.

Qualifications required:

ACA Qualified or equivalent
